What is happening?
Estimated over 350 students/family members attended the science night!
The night was not about students and parents learning
scientific facts. Instead the family
science night was about students and their families participating in an
educational exciting experience together.
The idea was FUN. Science concepts were
not to be shoved down their throats but the concept was to have a
positive and enjoyable family experience at school.
"Moreover, research tells us that parents’ attitudes affect their children’s
attitudes, and some adults’
fears of science have a negative impact on their children" (Kober, 1993).
